If you're wandering through the charming streets of San Vito Lo Capo, make sure to carve out time for a visit to Gelateria Minaudo. Nestled on Via Gioacchino Amico, this delightful ice cream shop is not just any parlor; it's a culinary gem that promises an authentic taste of Sicilian artistry in every scoop.
Gelateria Minaudo specializes in creating an array of indulgent gelato and granita that are crafted with love and the finest local ingredients. Customers rave about the unique flavors, particularly the gelato made with **gelsi (mulberries)** and **arancia rossa (blood orange)**, which has left many in sweet reverie. One enthusiastic visitor, Alex Laurent, proclaims it “probably the best gelato I have ever had in my life,” a sentiment echoed by others who have been captivated by their exquisite offerings.
The atmosphere at Gelateria Minaudo is all about enjoying life’s little pleasures. While the quick service ensures you won’t have to wait long for your delicious treat, we recommend savoring your choices while perched on a nearby bench, soaking in the vibrant energy around you. The crowded scene, filled with locals and tourists alike, creates a lively backdrop, making your dessert experience even more delightful.
For those who crave something uniquely Sicilian, don't miss the granita—an extraordinarily refreshing treat that Domenico Bruno considers “the best ever.” With combinations like **fichi (figs)** and **ricotta**, this dessert captures the essence of the region and offers a burst of flavor that celebrates the seasonal fruit of Sicily.
While the gelato is undeniably a star here, some patrons like Barbara C. have noted that the welcoming nature of the staff could use a touch of warmth. Despite this small hiccup, it’s hard to overlook the delightful creations that await you.
In sum, Gelateria Minaudo promises unforgettable flavors and an authentic Sicilian culinary experience. Whether you’re looking to cool off on a hot summer day or indulge in a decadent dessert, a visit here is a must when in San Vito Lo Capo. Your taste buds will thank you!

Probably the best gelato I have ever had in my life. Still dream of it almost a year after our visit to San Vito, where we enjoyed it sometimes twice a day.

Both the gelato and granita are soooo good! My favourite gelato shop in San Vito Lo Capo!

Really good Sicilian gelato (own production), without doubt one of the best of San Vito. Big flaw: the personal (owners?) is not welcoming. We were there twice and none was able to smile nor to answer back with courtesy to anything we said, not even to the compliments (and Italian is my mother tongue). I recommend to the owners to invest in hospitality, to complement all the other quality ingredients they use in their ice cream.

Apart from having crazy delicious ice cream, they have heavenly tasting granita. My cup was with Gelsi (mulberries) and arancia rossa (blood orange), combination I highly recommend (I had a brioche with ricotta and salted caramel right after, hihi. Service is fast and efficient, people come in and out at fast pace. The best is to devour your little dessert on one of the benches and observing the passing people or other devourers. Enjoy!

Best ever granita tried in my life. I had discussed with the owner, he use the real fruit… Fichi and ricotta is something awasome, cannot describe, as well as mandorla… If you are in san Vito is a must to go
